Managing Director
Isis Bous is the Managing Director for the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation and is responsible for the leadership and strategy of the Foundation, among other duties. Ms. Bous joined the Foundation in 2017 bringing more than a decade of experience working in law firms and in-house with both for-profit and nonprofit organizations; she advised and mentored social entrepreneurs domestically and abroad; and was an entrepreneur herself.
Ms. Bous received her J.D. from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law and her B.A. from George Washington University. She also holds an Executive Business Management Certificate, a Master Certificate in Government Contracting, and a Comparative and International Law Institute Certificate from Cambridge Judge Business School, George Washington University, and Jagiellonian University School of Law International Business and Trade, respectively.
Ms. Bous is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland. She has substantial experience with general corporate matters, policies, contracts, and business. She believes in a conscious approach to corporate practice and the law and has dedicated most of her career to furthering social enterprises and not-for-profit causes.
