GUFA Law Enables EOS International to Expand its Mission of Providing Access to Safe Drinking Water and Economic Opportunity to Honduras
Nicaragua and Honduras are among the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere with fifty percent of the rural population living below the national poverty line. A large majority of the impoverished population in these countries lives in rural areas, where access to basic services is limited. In addition to living in remote areas and possessing little purchasing power, most rural families continue to live without access to clean drinking water and have little opportunity to generate income.
